In March 2020, Castlemorton CE Primary School was one of the last schools to be inspected under the new SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) framework before Covid-19 disrupted life as we knew it. They are only one of eight schools to have been awarded an ‘excellent’ judgement in the Diocese of Worcester since the new schedule of inspections started in September 2018.
In their report, the SIAMS inspector commented on how the exceptionally strong leadership of the headteacher had created a vibrant Christian community in which all members flourish. Dedicated staff and highly skilled governors shared and continue to share the Christian vision which inspires and directs all aspects of school improvement.
Headteacher, Janet Adsett, said:
“Castlemorton is a family, a learning community and feels very special. Our children’s lives are enriched by the quality of the curriculum and the provision we offer, which is tailored to meet the needs of all pupils.”
Castlemorton is a rural church school, part of the Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust (DoWMAT) and set in amazing grounds overlooking the Malvern Hills. Located just 10 minutes away from Malvern, the school, like so many of our local schools, offers space for children to learn, grow and flourish.
“We currently have places available for September 2021 and welcome visits to our school,” Janet continued. “Please contact the school office if you would like an informal visit and an opportunity to see the school in session.”
