10 new Deacons ordained
Ten candidates were ordained as Deacons on Sunday to serve in parishes across the Diocese. The candidates have been part of a new training pathway aimed at those who see their vocation as being non-stipendiary (voluntary) ministers to churches in their local area.

In latest figures released by the Trussell Trust, food banks in its network provided more than 2.1 million food parcels to people in the past year across UK, alarmingly, more than 800,000 of these were for children.
