In this video Jim Ineson and Suzy James tell us about the walking tour which steps into Bewdley's black history. The leaflet, put together by the Bewdley Anti-Racism Group, tells the story of the history of the town, demonstrating historical connections between the town and slavery whilst also celebrating its history of radicalism.
The Bewdley Anti-Racism Group was formed in 2020 to raise awareness of racism and other forms of injustice, to make Bewdley a more inclusive community that welcomes and values diversity. In this video, Suzy James tells us more about the group.
