What is the Training and Support Hub?
At its simplest, it's a way of organising the training we offer to support and equip people to lead in parish life and mission where they are. It helps individuals and PCCs identify the training they need, and it helps the diocesan team identify the gaps in our provision.
Four Strands
We have organised the training and events we offer into four strands of learning:
- Ministry and Leadership
- Buildings and Churchyards
- Governance and Compliance
- Finance and Administration
Personal Enrichment
Alongside these strands aimed at practical skills for ministry and administration in the parish, we also offer a range of other opportunities for learning, exploration and personal faith development. These are intended to supplement parish programmes of learning, home groups and so on, and are open to anyone who is interested in the topic.
Finding Events
Training in the four stands of learning, events organised by our Education Team for those involved in their Church Schools, and events to support personal growth and enrichment are all listed in a programme we publish once a term, and in the regular training mailing, a supplement to the diocesan mailing.
