Location:
A desk space in our Parish office in Hasbury or St John the Baptist Church, Halesowen with some potential to work at home.
Salary:
£29,600 plus a pension

37.5 hours per week

The Parish of Halas are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and inspiring individual to join us as our New Worshipping Communities Co-ordinator and help us explore the presence of God with people and places in our local communities.
In this exciting new full-time role, you will take the lead on our NWC priority:
- Support and develop new worshipping communities which primarily target those in the community. Working with existing congregations and those we’ve yet to meet.
- Joining in with Churches Together Halesowen to lift the profile of St John’s church in the town.
- To become a training hub and resource to other churches in our diocese, to equip them launching their own NWCs.
- Champion discipleship, leading by example. Creating and leading those seeking faith and supporting home groups.
- Provide oversight, within a team, for New Worshipping Communities within the Parish.
- Nurture and develop the gifts of others working with you.
