The wellbeing of clergy and their families has always been a key aspect of our life as a diocese.
Clergy themselves have access to a range of resources specific to their professional needs and development, but there are also networks of support available to spouses and their families, as well as the specific help that may be needed in times of difficulty.
Helen Reading is a clergy spouse and a contact point for all clergy spouses – she can be contacted via the Bishop’s Office.
You can access links to financial support for clergy households here.
If you are struggling financially, we strongly encourage you to speak to your archdeacon or to the Bishop’s Chaplain Stuart Currie.
