Each child has a unique character, strengths and abilities that allow them to express their individuality in a social environment. It is what makes them special to us and to God. Parents begin to notice differences in their children when they are quite young. The Bible says that God created everyone and that we are all unique. It is important for children to know that they were made unique and that they don’t have to be the same as everyone else. Albert Einstein said “…if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” This is really important for our families to know especially as children begin to go to school.
