Community Projects Workshop
What’s it about?
Many parishes are running community projects of one kind or another. Some are looking to start and wondering how best to go about it. This is a short online workshop to share stories, and think about the ways we might go about it, which will be between 60 and 90 minutes long, depending on how lively the conversation is.
We will hear stories from two different community projects in the diocese to get the conversation going. One will be the Community Fridge at St Mary’s, Pickersleigh, an estate church on the edge of Malvern. The other will be the new (school) uniform bank being run by the Cradley Heath Community link. Leaders from these two projects will talk about what they’re doing and how they set about doing it.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who’s running a community project and wants to share good practice, anyone who’s thinking of starting one in their church, and anyone who would like to find out more so that they can consider whether this is something their church should think about.
