New Treasurers Meeting

An afternoon for new treasurers to look at the peculiarities of church finances within the Diocese of Worcester.

Becoming a Church Treasurer can often be daunting, with lots of new things to learn even if you are used to accounting. This afternoon, for treasurers, will provide you with the opportunity to come and meet the Finance team at Lowesmoor, who are always here to help, and your fellow new treasurers. We will cover a lot of the basics of church and charity accountancy, such as Parish Finance Returns, Gift Aid and Stewardship, and allow space for you to discuss and develop ideas within your own setting.
