Lunchtime Learning: The Church and the Future of Education
Speaker: Tim Reid (Director of Education for the Diocese of Worcester)
With 100 church schools in the diocese, the church locally is very heavily invested in and committed to education. The field of education continues to be a very fast changing and often contested between people of very different political; and educational views. With one eye on how churches can engage with their local schools, Tim Reid will lead reflection on how the future of education is shaping up, not least in how religious education has an important role to play in shaping religious literacy in a multifaith society.
