White Ladies Aston Fete

This annual event is a highlight of our church and village calendar. It raises funds for the church and involves a wide range of people in the planning and running of it. It is held in a lovely setting, Redfern House. WR7 4QQ. It attracts people from near and far as the stalls are all very well stocked and include plants, produce, books, toys, craft materials, white elephant and a Dress4Less marquee selling good quality clothes and accessories. There are games for all ages and races for children mid afternoon. There is always a wide range of homemade cakes on the tea stall which, not surprisingly, is usually very busy! This year, it is going to be opened by The Worcester Reenactors, so expect to see Roundheads, Cavaliers, Roman soldiers etc wandering round during the afternoon. Entry and parking are both free. In addition, the church, St. John the Baptist, will be open all day and there will be a photographic presentation of the local area running throughout the afternoon.
