Talking with Teens

An event for all who would like to attend, to discuss ways to engage in conversation with young people.  Advice for listening to and talking with teens in church or at home.

Do you find it difficult to have a conversation with teenagers? Perhaps you have one or two in your church or family, and you long to find ways to connect effectively? We'll consider some advice for talking and listening to young people based on research and including video contributions from teens themselves.

We'll look at some of the dominant issues affecting teenagers today, which may not be so different from your own experiences as a young person. The evening will consider one-to-one conversations as well as signposting to resources which help facilitate group conversations.

The aim is to improve our listening and attentiveness to teenagers, that they can fully contribute to and participate in the life of our church.
