This event is for those planning to lead (or considering leading) a group of people in engaging with the course.

About this event

Living in Love and Faith (LLF) is a major 'learning journey' project for the Church of England. At the heart of the project is a five session course. This event is for those planning to lead (or considering leading) a group of people in engaging with the course. This will normally be as part of the life of a local church, or in partnership between churches.

The event will include:

• An introduction to Living in Love and Faith (see also the two-minute Introduction video below)

• Refresher training on group facilitation skills (we will assume that participants come with a reasonable level of experience and skills in this area)

• Preparing for some of the potential challenges of leading an LLF discussion group

Who is this event for?:

This briefing has been designed for those who are considering or planning to lead an LLF Group. We encourage LLF group leaders to attend one of these events before embarking on the course. We will assume reasonable familiarity with general group facilitation skills.

These events will focus on:

• Overview and intro to LLF
• Refresher of group facilitation skills
• Consideration of online and face-to-face factors
• Attention to particular considerations with this course material

This single-session event will take place on the following dates, please register to attend one of the single-session events listed below only:

• Tuesday 23rd September, 2pm - 4pm
• Monday 18 October, 2:30pm - 4:30pm

LLF Companions:

We also have a diocesan team of trained LLF Companions, one of whom will be very happy to accompany you, as needed and appropriate, in planning and delivering the course.
