Engaging the Bible in Ministry

This is especially for ALMs, but is open to anyone. Those who’ve recently completed their specialist ALM training as Pastoral Workers or Worship Leaders are particularly encouraged to attend, but anyone who is interested is welcome.

The Bible is a significant resources for ministry, and growing in familiarity with it strengthens our understanding of ministry, our ability to minister, and the ways in which we can be supported and challenged by listening to God.

In this session, we will reflect on overall narrative of the Bible, and some stories of how it came into being. We will conclude by looking at some of the things the scriptures say about ministry.
