Encounter Meditation
An invitation to take an hour out of the busyness of modern life. Facilitated by contemplative practitioners, Mary Flitcroft and Helen Stanton, sessions will start with a piece of live music or artwork followed by a time of reflection, silence, and meditation. Those familiar with and new to contemplative practice are welcome.
When: second Monday of each month, beginning 13 January, 7pm-8.30pm

Registration: Booking is not required
Cost: Pay as you can, suggested donation £5-10 per session
What to expect: A warm welcome, time of reflection, silence, contemplation, and discussion. Each session will end with refreshments and a chance to get to know each other.
What to bring: No prior knowledge or expertise of art, music or contemplative prayer is needed. Come just as you are. You may wish to bring a cushion or blanket with you to ensure you are comfortable.
Encounter Meditation is brought to you by experienced contemplative practitioners, Mary Flitcroft and Helen Stanton. Mary is a ceramic artist, a retreat leader, and a spiritual director She is Bishops' Adviser for Spirituality for the Diocese of Worcester. Helen is a theologian, writer, and spiritual director. She is Warden of Holland House (Ecumenical) Retreat and Conference Centre, and an amateur painter.
