DBE: Nurturing relationships between church & school : Pt 2

Establishing and maintaining strong effective relationships between school and the local church has far reaching benefits to the community as a whole. This mutual relationship can support both the school and church community to flourish.

In the second part of this course we look at practical ways in which Church and School can build effective relationship and work together. We will embed the principals of the 5 Marks of Mission and look at case-studies to support a growing understanding. We will also look at incentives for effective collaboration such as the Diocesan Church and School Partnership Award. As part of this second day, we will also give Clergy and Headteachers time to work together on an action plan for the building effective relationships.

This is a 2 part course designed to help school and church work closely together. Part 1 to be held on Tuesday 11th February 2025.

Part 2 is designed for clergy and headteachers to work together to begin to plan activities to embed a strong, mutual relationship.
