DBE: Delivering Understanding Christianity

Understanding Christianity (UC) sets the bar for the quality for teaching and learning of Christianity in our schools and academies. It reinforces the messages given nationally relating to ‘digging deeper’ and ‘lingering longer’ when engaging children and young people with the big ideas and concepts of religion and belief. During this course, support will be given in relation to where these materials fit with both the Worcestershire and Dudley agreed syllabi, in addition to lesson planning and whole school implementation of the resources.

This course is aimed at RE Subject Leaders and teachers who are already using the UC materials within school and who would like to further develop the key messages of Understanding Christianity and a chance to discuss best practice with other leaders using the resource.
