DBE: Being an Ex-Officio or Bishop’s Representative

This session will look at the unique role of the clergy Ex-Officio or approved Bishop’s Representative on the governing body of a church school. We will review their responsibilities and provide an understanding of the position within the governing board and how it relates to other key stakeholders within the school.

Additionally, this session offers an opportunity for the Ex-Officio or Bishop’s Representative to explore further ways for the school and church communities to work effectively
together. To include an overview of the Church and School Partnership Award.
