Come and hear an eclectic mix of organ music on the renowned Tamburini Organ of All Saints Bromsgrove, given by Ashley Wagner, Assistant Head of Music at Birmingham Cathedral, as part of the All Saints 150th Anniversary Festival. Bach (1685-1750) Holy Spirit truth divine | Frederick Frahm (1964-) Canzona Quarta | Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643) Concerto No. 9 (Four Movements) | Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713) Divertimento | Robert Evans (1949–) Prelude and Fugue in e minor, BWV 548 | J.S. Bach The 2024 Summer Concert Series celebrates the musical traditions of All Saints’ Church, Bromsgrove built over the last one hundred and fifty years. A diverse series of five concerts will feature performances of choral, instrumental chamber music, and solo recitals, from local to internationally renowned musicians. The 2024 Summer Concert Series also highlights the distinguished 1981 Tamburini Organ, which after nearly forty-five years of use, is in need of restoration. Proceeds from this recital series shall go towards ensuring this fine instrument can continue to serve the church and its community for years to come. Free admission, suggested donation £5.
