Stoke Prior's beautiful medieval church is set in an ancient churchyard with wonderful trees, two of which date back 1,200 years, with lots of wildlife and a conservation area, The building has arches from the 12th century, carvings from the 20th century and lots from in between! The tower has recently undergone major restoration; in addition a new path has been laid, leading round to the west entrance with its stunning glass vestibule. Not only does this offer easy access to any who prefer to avoid steps, it also provides an excellent entry for brides on their wedding day.
Our small congregation is friendly and welcoming and we hope you feel at home, whether you are visiting the churchyard, the church, or joining us for our services.
There is a dynamic, creative Heritage Friends Group which organises a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year. New members are always welcome. You don't have to be a regular church member in order to be part of the Heritage Group. (See below for sontact details).

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have a Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO). The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
