The Priory's Medieval Glass and its People: Heritage & Faith Lecture

Details

Poster of the priory's medieval glass talk

Dr. Heather Gilderdale Scott is an expert on Medieval Glass and inter alia has written about the work of John Thornton, the medieval glazier at York Minster and at Great Malvern Priory. She is also a committee member and treasurer of the Corpus Vitrearum Media Aevi (CVMA), the international research organisation dedicated to recording Europe’s medieval stained glass heritage.

We are thrilled that she will be coming to speak at Great Malvern Priory on 10th October. Her subject will cover the people depicted in the glass, those who gave it and those who created it.

The lecture will be followed by delicious canapé refreshments and drinks.

Tickets are available for £15 from the Friends’ shop in the Priory, on-line from TicketSource and from the Malvern TIC.
