This course aims to support headteachers in understanding their role in governance and compliance matters.
This day will include:
- vision led conversations and decision making (Our Hope for a Flourishing School System)
- responsibilities and where they lie i.e. school, academy, Local Authority, Diocese
- the Headteacher’s role as an Ex-officio
- the Headteacher’s responsibilities when reporting to governors
- statutory policy compliance and support in auditing
- statutory website compliance and support in auditing
- good estate management.
The afternoon session will give delegates the opportunity to audit their school website, please bring a laptop.
