This course is designed to help create an environmentally friendly culture within school, and support school leaders in understanding how to move their buildings, energy use and other school practice towards zero carbon emissions. In addition, this course will seek to identify how environmental issues can be woven into the school curriculum.
This course we will look at:
- The Church of England’s aims to be Carbon Net Zero by 2030
- the Diocesan Decarbonisation Plan
- DfE sustainability strategy
- support with improving your carbon footprint
- exploring resources such as Let’s Go Zero and Eco-Schools.
