ACAT (the Association of Church Accountants and Treasurers) will be holding their annual conference on Saturday 14 October at The Priory Rooms, Birmingham (B4 6AF). There will also be a live-streamed option for those unable to make it in person.

This year they are focusing on inspiring churches to make the most of what they have with the conference entitled: Maximising Resources: being Efficiently Effective.

ACAT would like to encourage churches to use and extend their existing resources, whether money, people, buildings, or technology, to achieve their mission and make a difference in God’s Church. Alongside speakers, the conference usually has representatives for you to speak to from the Charity Commission, HMRC, JustMoney Movement, CAF bank, Data Developments, Ecclesiastical, CCLA and many others.

Early bird tickets are available for £65 which includes all materials, lunch and refreshments. Find out more and book here.

You can also sign up to be a member of ACAT for free via this link which gives you access to their Treasurers Handbook, advice and videos, and training opportunities.
