18:30 - 20:00CARL Farmers' Harvest ServiceThe Chaplaincy for Agriculture and Rural Life will be holding their annual Farmers' Harvest Service at Worcester Cathedral on Sunday 3rd October at 6.30pm. The preacher is Mark Betson - National Rural Officer of The Church of England. Light refreshments will be available after the service in College Hall. All welcome.

About this event

Living in Love and Faith (LLF) is a major 'learning journey' project for the Church of England. At the heart of the project is the five session LLF Course.

Book here for our diocesan Online version of the LLF course for Church Leaders. This course is designed for and open to: clergy, other church leaders, and people planning to lead an LLF Course group. It offers a chance to experience the course for yourself before leading others, or planning how to engage.

When?:

Each version of the course involves five separate sessions. More dates may be added.

Dates:

  • Session: Tuesday 14th, 21st, 28th September, Tuesday 5th and 12th October - 2.30pm – 4.30pm (please attend all sessions)

Who is this event for?:

Designed for and open to: clergy, other church leaders, and people planning to lead an LLF Course group.

We also have a diocesan team of trained LLF Companions, one of whom will be very happy to accompany you, as needed and appropriate, in planning and delivering the course.

If you would be interested in being paired with an LLF Companion, or with any other questions about Living in Love and Faith as a whole, please contact the Diocesan Advocate, Jonathan Kimber.

This event is for those planning to lead (or considering leading) a group of people in engaging with the course.

About this event

Living in Love and Faith (LLF) is a major 'learning journey' project for the Church of England. At the heart of the project is a five session course. This event is for those planning to lead (or considering leading) a group of people in engaging with the course. This will normally be as part of the life of a local church, or in partnership between churches.

The event will include:

  • An introduction to Living in Love and Faith (see also the two-minute Introduction video below)
  • Refresher training on group facilitation skills (we will assume that participants come with a reasonable level of experience and skills in this area)
  • Preparing for some of the potential challenges of leading an LLF discussion group

Who is this event for?:

This briefing has been designed for those who are considering or planning to lead an LLF Group. We encourage LLF group leaders to attend one of these events before embarking on the course. We will assume reasonable familiarity with general group facilitation skills.

These events will focus on:

  • Overview and intro to LLF
  • Refresher of group facilitation skills
  • Consideration of online and face-to-face factors
  • Attention to particular considerations with this course material

Dates:

This single-session event will take place on the following dates, please register to attend one of the single-session events listed below only:

  • Tuesday 23rd September, 2pm - 4pm
  • Monday 18 October, 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Harry is no stranger to our Coffee Concert regulars, who have been following his career since he first appeared in the Scott-Burt Trio at the age of eight. This year Harry made his professional debut as a soloist and he is now principal cello in the National Youth Orchestra which he has chosen to support at this Coffee Concert. Harp Beats with Rita Schindler Come and explore the beautiful sounds of two different harps in one concert.
