Special service held in Bewdley to mark Racial Justice Sunday

A diocesan service entitled ‘A Coat of Many Colours’ was held for Racial Justice Sunday on 9 February, at St Anne’s Church in Bewdley. The service was planned by members of the Diocese of Worcester Racial Justice Forum.

New Mothers' Union President

Myriad learning community enters second year of journey

On the last Saturday in January, teams from churches who are part of the Myriad learning community, and are hosting and developing New Worshipping Communities, met together for the next session. This group first met this time last year.

Diocesan partnership sets pace for net zero transition

Ian Hill has joined the net zero carbon project team of specialists working across the dioceses of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester. Ian will provide a schools focus to the team, which is also focussed on reducing the carbon footprint of our clergy housing and church buildings.

Expanding work with children, families & schools in Pershore

Celebrating St Wulfstan

Sunday 19 January is the feast of St Wulfstan, the 11th century Bishop of Worcester who was responsible for a major rebuild of the Cathedral. Dean of Worcester, Stephen Edwards suggests visiting the Cathedral to give thanks for his holy life.

A diocesan service for Racial Justice Sunday on 9 February will be held at St Anne's Church, Bewdley at 4pm. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of racial justice, to give thanks for human diversity, and to commit to end racism and acts of discrimination.
