St John Halesowen’s first iSingPop Worship ‘PopUp Church’ launched last week, at Halesowen CE Primary, aiming to engage local families and help bring church and school together as one community.
35 pupils, parents and staff as well as Children and Families Worker Louise Hicklin and Kirsty Pierson from iSingPop, gathered after school to celebrate Pentecost in a most creative way!
Louise Hicklin said:
“There were iSingPOP songs, a story, craft, prayer and praising through the best dance moves!"
"Kirsty taught us a new song called ‘Praise to the King’. We learnt how to say Pentecost in several different languages and then spent time making our flame headbands. We finished with prayer, and families also took a prayer activity home so that they could spend time reflecting together. It’s been a really great start!"
