Everyone has a particular calling or vocation and part of the church's work is to help people explore this. For some this calling is to a particular job or type of employment. For others it might be to a form of service in the church - for example as a lay worker, Reader, Verger, as part of a Local Ministry Team, as an ordained person or as a Religious. These pages explore some of the particular ministries in the Church of England. The list is not exhaustive. The diocese has a vocations team of people who are there to help you explore your particular vocation.
