When the first Easter happened, the disciples were in their own personal lockdown – behind closed doors, and in fear. For us in our national lockdown, Easter is still a time of praise. We still are able to praise God, especially for those key workers making a difference to other people's lives today. As one of the great early Christian writers said: "We are an Easter people, and 'Alleluia' is our song!"
